Six Sentences Sunday-2

Last Sunday you read about someone standing ‘in front of the open gate’ at what he thought might be a ‘gated community’. And someone even thought the individual might, repeat might, be the hero.

Today I thought step a little further into the WIP and present another main character or at least a little insight into him.

So here’s my six sentences for this week-

As he watched the video, of his sibling laugh and play on the beach, he saw happiness in the expressions the camera caught. He always knew his twin was happiest when playing on the beach.

Unbeknownst at first, a tear escaped from his eye and trickled down his pasty white cheek. Unthinking, he tried to lift his right hand to wipe it away.

Pain and the remembrance of who’d caused the pain seeped into his mind. A near silent vow of revenge once again fluttered past his lips.

Check back on Tuesday when I’ll have another Emily Dahill vignette for you to hopefully savor and ponder. It’s a little different from previous posts and, sorry, doesn’t include Dakota the wonder collie.
