To the equally frozen Antarctica
And everywhere in between
May of our servicewomen and men
Sgt. Ronda Tutt and Sgt. Smallwood, Fort Hood, TX
And LCpl Garrett Wentworth
Will be able to say-
While many stationed around the world will only be able to say to their families and loved one-
But still with bright smiles most will be able to have a special feast
Even our women will be on the front lines doing the job they chose
Even 4-star Generals get into the Christmas spirit with their troops
So let’s remember, in our thoughts and prayers today, these brave women and men serving our country on this CHRISTMAS DAY
This is one of many families that will have an extra special Christmas this year. My friend Jessica Scott and children greeting her husband as he with his unit are one of the last to return from Iraq on Saturday, 23 December 2011.
Thank you Lindsay for the tribute. We appreciate your support and Merry Christmas.
Nice tribute, Lindsay. We have so much to be thankful for because of these men and women.
Patricia,
Don’t you mean ‘these women and men.’
wonderful collage of pics –
I never tire of seeing a tribute to veterans.
I served in the U.S. Air Force (active duty from ’71-’74) and A.F. Reserve.
During my active duty, I had an overseas tour in the Arctic Circle, in NW Greenland, at Thule AB.
Thanks for posting this.
It is my HONOR and pleasure to salute our servicewomen and men
Great tribute.
