Welcome back for another Tuesday Tales, the place where many books have been born, including this one, White Queen.

Word prompt- silver

From her hide-sight in the storm drain Jessica had a clear view of the house in question. Tonight, unlike the previous two, the moon illuminated the building and street with a soft silver hue. One that negated the need for night vision goggles now secured in a pack at her hip.

Dressed in her version of an urban camouflage tactical uniform, gleaned from several military units worldwide, she knew she was completely invisible except for the occasion dog who would sniff the storm drain grate she hid behind.

Seated on a small tri-legged stool she watched the front of the building facing the street for any signs of movement. Every time someone crossed in front of a window she’d key the mic which rested comfortable in her…
